Germany’s biggest audience award will be held in 2013.
The Goldene Henne has been awarded since 1985 by SUPERillu magazine, Mitteldeutsches Rundfunk and Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb) at Berlin’s Friedrichstadtpalast. Now, in 2011, this high-profile award ceremony will be held for the first time at Theater am Potsdamer Platz. The thinking behind holding the show at Potsdamer Platz is that the Platz to be is celebrating a double jubilee this year – 21 years of German unity and 21 years of SUPERillu.
National and international stars from rock, pop and classical music are due to attend the Goldene Henne, where they will accompany around 2,000 guests in the theatre – and television audiences – on a musical journey around the globe. If you want to secure some of the highly sought-after seats at this glamorous event, you can buy tickets now from the box office of Theater am Potsdamer Platz, Marlene-Dietrich-Platz 1, 10785 Berlin.
The Goldene Henne award ceremony will be broadcast live on MDR and rbb television.
