QUALITY AND DESIGN
With its 70 meters and 18 floors, Potsdamer Platz 11 is one of the three largest buildings at Potsdamer Platz. With Potsdamer Platz 11, the Italian architect Renzo Piano has created a prominent trademark of the Neue Mitte. In dialogue with the neighbouring tower Potsdamer Platz 1, the building forms the northern end of the area. With its triangular floor plan and the resulting glass tip, the building points elegantly and precisely like a compass needle towards Potsdamer Platz. The double glass façade provides natural and energy-efficient air conditioning for the office tower. The rear part of the building, on the other hand, is clad in terracotta and staggered so that it connects to the neighboring buildings at the same height. To the south, Potsdamer Platz 11 borders directly on the historic Haus Huth.
