International Children’s Day

Germany’s Largest Children’s Festival

With over 100,000 visitors, the International Children’s Day Festival in Berlin is the largest event of its kind in Germany. Since 2002, it has been celebrated at Potsdamer Platz. Each year on International Children’s Day, Berliners old and young along with guests from all over the world come to enjoy the festival, turning Potsdamer Platz into a giant playground. Variety stage shows featuring prominent guests and famous emcees keep spirits high. More than 100 initiatives and clubs participate in the event and, in addition to the stage entertainment, offer a host of games and activities free of charge, guaranteeing a lively atmosphere at Potsdamer Platz.
