The large murals are a real eye-catcher. They can be seen at the two entrances to the Potsdamer Platz Arkaden. Behind them the renovation work is in progress. Millo and 44flavours are the first artists to exhibit in the new Open Air gallery at Potsdamer Platz.

The street art artist Millo, invited by curator Yasha Young, shows in his new work “In the Aftermath of Everything There is Still Something” the rebirth of an urban district. The 11 x 8 metre large work can be seen at the arcade entrance in Alte Potsdamer Straße.

The Italian artist Francesco Camillo Giorgino, known as Millo, paints large-format murals in which friendly residents explore their urban surroundings.

During the Festival of Lights from 11th to 20th September, Millo’s arcade artwork will be illuminated during the evening hours.

A second mural can be discovered inside the Arkaden entrance on Eichhornstraße. It is entitled “Redefine” and was created by the Berlin artist duo 44flavours. Sebastian Bagge and Julio Rölle, who are behind 44flavours, use strong colours to create a pop painting mix of spatial allusions, Op-Art, figuration and signs.
