Burgermeister is a meeting place for people who love fast food, but at the same time do not want to do without quality and fresh ingredients. With a lot of passion, creativity and innovation Burgermeister is a trendsetter and revolutionizes the burger business sustainably. The experiences and successes in the existing own restaurants are the basis for the franchise partners to exploit the success potential in their own area.
It all began in 2006 in a former, historical and listed toilet house under the subway tracks of the U1 line at Schlesisches Tor station in the Berlin district of Kreuzberg. The first Burgermeister was created at this historic location.
Cebrail Karabelli and Cecilie von Reibnitz (GbR) opened their first Burgermeister at this highly frequented center of a trendy district in Berlin. Due to the quality of the burgers on offer, the restaurant quickly became known beyond the regional borders and still supplies not only Berliners but also many tourists with tasty burgers.
In 2015 another location was opened in Berlin Kreuzberg at Kottbusser Tor, not far from the regular store at Schlesisches Tor. This new Burgermeister is operated in a restaurant where customers can enjoy the burgers in the proven quality (with seating).

The Burger Pure Beef, freshly minced. Salt, pepper. Searing hot and wonderfully juicy. Sounds simple. It is. If you are willing to pay attention to the little things. That’s why Burgermeister makes everything itself.
Only fresh ingredients are used. The meat, 100% beef, is delivered fresh daily. In the in-house butcher’s shop it is turned by the wolf and processed into minced meat. The sauces are also our own creations. The Burgermeister grill method guarantees the typical Burgermeister grill taste.
The bread roll
Daily freshly baked from aromatic sweet brioche dough. Extra buttered. Crispy on the outside, fine-pored and wonderfully soft on the inside. Holds firmly together what belongs together. The burger buns are produced in our own bakery according to a secret recipe.
Fresh potatoes, double fried. This is the way. The goal: crispy skin-on fries with extra potato taste. Enclosed by a crispy crust. Also available in the variants Cheese Fries and Chili Fries. The potatoes are supplied by selected suppliers according to Burgermeister quality standards.
