Starting Friday, May 21, 2021, restaurants, cafes and bars in Berlin will be allowed to reopen in outdoor areas. Numerous restaurants and cafes at Potsdamer Platz are participating. Enjoy your time out, lunch break or dinner at Potsdamer Platz!
If you follow a few rules, nothing will stand in the way: You will need a negative Corona test (not older than 24 hours), proof of vaccination or convalescence. In addition, no more than five people from a maximum of two households may sit together at one table. Children under 14 years of age and vaccinated and recovered persons are not counted. Employees as well as guests who are not at their seat must wear a medical face mask.
A Corona test is offered by Pluspunkt pharmacy at Potsdamer Platz. In a room on the first floor, right next to the pharmacy on Eichhornstrasse, trained staff test symptom-free people by appointment. Requirement: You must be registered in Germany. After 15-20 minutes, those tested receive their result, which is then valid for 24 hours. Appointments can be made online at www.potsdamer-platz-apotheke.de or by phone at 030-255 9220.
Please check directly with the restaurants, cafes or bars for the current opening hours and conditions on site.
Please note: The obligation to wear a medical face mask still applies on Potsdamer Platz.
